SMC Spring Mount

Exco SMC Spring Mount is manufactured with a cast iron lower housing with tapered verticle sides, into which a cast iron housing fits with tapered legs, specifically designed to be compatible with the vertical uprights.
The spring is situated in the lower housing with a load bearing cap located upon it.
The box has neoprene rubber between the legs and uprights to prevent metal to metal contact. The base plates of these units are supplied with a neoprene sound isolating pad to stop noise / vibration transmission.

Exco SMC units are suitable for use with chillers and other reciprocating plant. Please forward the plant's "Footprint" drawings, advising the weight of the plant. The Exco sales office will advise the correct SMC required.
Exco can also supply any steelwork sub frame bases with these units cut, painted and drilled for installation on site.
